Sheba came to Eileen in 2003 needing love and care. Her previous parents had not been able to care for her adequately and surrendered her to Eileen. She was an older dog and was very wise. At Southeast Texas Homeless Pet Adoption Center she was able to flourish.

She was a very happy, good-natured, well behaved dog. She loved to play. She was most generous with her love. She was very happy to romp and play with anyone, human or animal, who was available. She lavished affection on everyone she knew.

In December, 2004, despite excellent home and veterinary care, Sheba suffered a massive stroke and passed on as a result. She will always be missed and remembered most fondly. She was a blessing to all who knew her.
